Privacy policy

How we handle the personal information you give us through this website.

Last updated: [DATE]

Who we are

This website is run by [COMPANY NAME], a company registered in England and Wales (company number [COMPANY NUMBER]), with its registered office at [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

  • Audit requests. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, work email, brand name, website, product category, store platform, affiliate software, margin range, what you need help with, and anything you add in the message box.
  • Guide alerts. If you ask to hear about new guides, we collect your email address.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to arrange a call. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, and on taking steps you ask for before a contract.
  • To send guide alerts, if you ask for them. We rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
  • To keep the website secure and working. We rely on our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We use a form-handling service, Web3Forms, to receive form submissions and pass them to us by email. We use Cloudflare to host the website and to keep it secure. We do not sell your information. We may share it with professional advisers or where the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case different terms apply. Guide alert emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you choose light or dark mode, your browser stores that choice on your own device so we can remember it. This is strictly necessary for the feature you asked for and is not shared with us. Fonts are served from our own website.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it. To do so, email us at the address above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
